Lyth Reflexology header
Reflexology is one of the best ways to reduce stress. There are many reflexology maps of the feet showing how areas and points in the feet relate to organs and systems of the body. The feet are a microcosm of the body and the health and functionality of the feet affects the entire system.

What is reflexology?

Reflexology is a complementary, holistic therapy based on the theory that all areas of the body are reflected in the feet, hands, face and ears. A reflexologist will work on the feet using thumbs, fingers or knuckles to apply gentle pressure to all the reflex points to promote relaxation and an improved sense of wellbeing. Sometimes the hands may be used instead of the feet, although the feet provide a larger area and greater sensitivity to treatment.

A fascinatingly accurate map of the body has been identified in the feet and this can be seen by clicking the foot map symbol below.
